For this recipe, you will need the following:

  • Oreos
  • Chocolate frosting
  • Wilton Candy eyes
  • Candy corns

How to make Oreo Turkey Cookies?

Apart from being a delicious treat, and very festive, this recipe is super easy to follow, and ready in less than 15 minutes. Follow the steps below to get the best results:

  1. Prepare the working station: Cover a baking sheet with waxed paper.Remove the cookies from the package and set aside.
  2. Melt the chocolate:Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and melt the chocolate. Dip each cookie into the melted chocolate and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Decorate: Next, make the turkey feathers, by evenly spacing out the candy corn onto the chocolate. Next, use eye-shaped candies for the eyes. For the nose, use another candy corn piece, place it below the eyes. Chill the cookies for a few minutes.

That is it! Simply repeat this process for as many cookies as you desire. This is one of our favorite treats to make for Thanksgiving with the whole family. It is fun, easy to decorate, and can also be made in advance.

  • 20ozsemi-sweet chocolatechopped
  • 20Oreos
  • Candy corn

Instructions

  1. Cover a tray with waxed paper and set aside.

  2. Add the chopped chocolate to a medium bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir until fully melted.

  3. Dip in Oreos and arrange them onto the prepared tray.

  4. Immediately top with candy corn to make the turkey's feathers and now. Use eye-shaped candy for the eyes.

  5. Chill for 10-15 minutes, until the chocolate hardens.
